Who we are
We're a family run business that believes that only the best will do. We care about our guests and want to change the way people view Bed and Breakfasts.
Our food is prepared with ingredients of the highest quality, and a very personal service.
Breakfast is included in our prices, offered daily from 7-10am weekdays and 8am-11am at weekends. Grab bags can be organised upon check in for those of you that are early birds.
Cleanliness here at the Queen Phillippa is one of our main priorities and we take pride in our feedback from guests since 2014.
Free parking is available to the side of the building and across the road. We also have 3 electric car charging points!
Nearby
Just a 5 minute walk away are two unique pubs with real character. The Rose Public House and The Admirals Arm Micro Pub which hosts quizzes every Thursday.
Have a walk down the creek (see below for a link to Queenborough Harbour) to our local Fishmongers or to visit Bosuns Tea Rooms. In the other direction and you'll find further pubs and eateries. Sheerness is just a 5-minute drive away and you'll find everything you need.
Dine in the Queen Phillippas which offers a wide range of wholesome and fresh food. Vegetarian options and childrens menus are available as are many other dietary requirements. We also have a selection of delicious homemade desserts.
What you need to do after booking a room
Even if you have booked online through another channel, please take note of the following:

Please note that our reception closes at 9pm. If for any reason you are arriving later, then please call us to make arrangements for a later check-in time / self-check-in.

If booking a family room of any type, then please contact us to confirm how many guests will be staying in the room. Some booking companies unfortunately do not accurately pass this information on to us.

Isle of Sheppey beaches
Enjoy Sheppey's Blue Flag and Seaside Award beaches which are seasonally lifeguarded.
The Isle of Sheppey has three beautiful resort/bathing beaches which have been awarded Blue Flag and Seaside Awards for the 2022 season with good bathing water quality expected, at Sheerness Beach, Minster Leas Beach and Leysdown Beach.
Adjacent to Bartons Point Coastal Park on Marine Parade Sheerness you can also enjoy Minster Shingle Bank Beach which is perfect for water sports.

If you're thinking of heading to one of our beaches, please be careful and remember the risks when visiting the seaside. Currently no lifeguards are on duty at our bathing beaches (operating at peak season only) so we’re reminding people to use their common sense in and around the water and stay safe.
So, if you are going to the beach please remember:
